Designed for a young couple, this house was also redesigned as a way to rethink how to live in it. The renovation stems from this idea and reorganizes the space from the essentials, allowing light to take center stage. The two terraces, previously underutilized, become the heart of the project and their use is integrated into the daily routine. They become part of the flow of movement and reinforce the connection between inside and outside without forcing it.

  • Opening up the living room towards them changes everything: the space expands, gaining depth and light, and the main room takes on a different scale. The interior extends outwards without rigidity, and each area feels more open, balanced, and connected.

The kitchen flows seamlessly into this space. Separated by a large island that doubles as a high table, it becomes a hub for gathering, conversation, and movement. The fronts, finished in a Roto Lacquer, add a touch of softness that balances the exposed concrete, highlighted in key areas to showcase the original structure. Birch wood softens the transitions and adds warmth without being overwhelming.

The design stems from simple but well-considered decisions: taking advantage of the light, choosing simple and durable materials, preserving what still has value, and making everything fit together naturally.

The result is a space that feels different. Lighter, brighter, more in tune with its inhabitants. A place where everything flows effortlessly and every corner invites you to linger.
