A young woman was looking to transform her 121 m2 flat in Madrid into a space that reflected her desire for a relaxed yet functional environment. She wanted a place that would be an oasis in the city, an environment that would remind her of the colours of summer all year round.

The challenge was to create an open but defined space that could be used for work and leisure. The solution came in the form of wooden frames that separate and give personality to each space while maintaining the feeling of spaciousness. The kitchen became the link between the living room and the work area, creating fluidity in the living space.

The use of materials and colours was key in creating this atmosphere. The WOOD Oak finish was chosen for warmth, contrasting with the white of the rest of the house and the green marble elements. Plantea handles add sophistication and elegance to the kitchen furniture, which is complemented by a natural stone countertop.

The linear design of the kitchen, with a niche and shelf, blends perfectly with the three-dimensional wooden frames that give a sense of greater space and depth.

This refurbishment has met the owner’s expectations and she now enjoys a versatile space with a summery atmosphere.
