For a person working from home, their home is not only a place of rest but also their office. On a ground floor flooded with natural light and with a renovated courtyard as an interior garden, the challenge was to design an optimal space to merge daily and working life.

The owner wanted a versatile, easy-to-maintain kitchen that could be integrated into the rest of the house and take advantage of the view of the interior garden.

A linear kitchen was designed with a central island, whose circular countertop encompasses both the cooking area and the sink, also providing a comfortable workspace. In parallel, a tall unit has been integrated to keep the space tidy. The porcelain countertop, in addition to its beauty, stands out for its resistance to daily use and for being easy to clean.

An important element has also been included: a blue curtain, which can be easily moved, separating the kitchen from the dining room and living room. When opened, it unifies the rooms, offering a large, bright space with views of the garden.

With a predominance of white and touches of blue in LAMINATE Blanco and Cadaqués finishes, a sense of calm and harmony was achieved.

With this renovation, the owner now enjoys an environment that promotes tranquillity and concentration with a choice of colours that evoke serenity.
