Kitchens - LAMINATE Perle, WOOD Oak

A family retreat near Madrid

For a family with two young children looking for their second home near Madrid, the priority was to create a home that combined functionality with design, using neutral colors and wood to subtly add warmth. The goal was to create a space that, in addition to being modern and elegant, offered the practicality necessary for the dynamism of family life, especially in the kitchen, designed to be a meeting point for everyday activities such as meal preparation and homework.

The home was designed as an open-plan space, without partitions, allowing natural light to flow freely, especially in the kitchen, which opens onto the living room. This configuration was essential so that the parents could always keep an eye on the children, ensuring a safe and connected environment.

The kitchen finishes, in Perle LAMINATE with PILL and WOOD Roble handles, offer a modern and aesthetic look. The natural stone countertop, Macael marble, stands out for its durability and subtly complements the design with its grayish hue, creating a harmony of neutral colors that bring serenity to the space.

The L-shaped layout is complemented by wall units, a shelf, and drawers in the countertop, optimizing storage and facilitating organization. The base units, which include the sink and hob, are easily accessible, promoting a fluid and enjoyable culinary experience.

This project demonstrates how the careful integration of an open design, authentic materials, and planning focused on family functionality can create a practical, welcoming, and modern environment.
