Kitchens - LAMINATE Blanco
A Haussmannian in the center of Paris
In the heart of Paris, a 110 m² apartment has been completely transformed to accommodate a new way of living, without sacrificing its history. The challenge: transforming a classic Haussmannian building into a contemporary, family-friendly, and functional space, with a more generous layout, an additional bedroom, and a kitchen that now opens onto the living room.
The project was based on a clear objective: to optimize the space without losing the soul of the place. The original kitchen was moved into the living room to create a spacious common area and free up space for a new bedroom.
The original moldings, restored fireplace, and reclaimed wood floors now coexist with contemporary materials such as glazed cement and terrazzo, which add mystery and depth. This play of contrasts—between what remains and what is transformed, between the decorative and the minimal—defines the project's identity.
When integrated into the living room, the kitchen needed to be elegant and discreet. That's why we opted for Blanco LAMINATE fronts , which provide visual clarity and blend with the architecture without competing with it. The design was achieved with clean lines, without visible handles, and with custom-made furniture that makes the most of every corner.
The result is a simple, functional family kitchen that becomes part of the domestic landscape without dominating it.
