Kitchens - WOOD Oak
A minimalist kitchen with Mediterranean touches
A young woman was looking to transform her 121 m2 apartment in Madrid into a space that reflected her desire for a relaxed yet functional environment. She wanted a place that would be an oasis in the city, an environment that would remind her of the colors of summer all year round.
The challenge was to create an open yet defined space that could be used for work and for enjoying her free time. The solution came in the form of wooden frames that separate and give personality to each space, while maintaining a sense of spaciousness. The kitchen became the link between the living room and the work area, creating a fluidity in the home.
The use of materials and colors was key in creating this atmosphere. The WOOD Oak finish was chosen to provide warmth, contrasting with the white of the rest of the home and the green marble elements. The Plantea handles add sophistication and elegance to the kitchen furniture, which is complemented by a natural stone countertop.
The linear design of the kitchen, with a niche and shelf, blends perfectly with the three-dimensional wooden frames that provide a sense of greater space and depth.
This renovation has met the owner's expectations and she now enjoys a versatile space with a summery atmosphere.
