Kitchens - LAMINATE Blanco

A radical change with key changes

Maroussia owns an 80 m2 studio in Paris. After living in her apartment for several years, she dreamed of knocking down walls and letting the light flood into her apartment. This didn't require any major renovations, and with small changes, this apartment has been transformed.

Originally, the apartment featured a large red entrance and a narrow kitchen in yellow and gray tones. Despite its inherent charm, the layout and design limited its light and spatial potential.

The key to the project was the decision to knock down the partition between the entrance and the kitchen. These spaces merge, creating an open and bright space that maintains a spacious entrance to the apartment but also allows for an enlarged kitchen, adding a comfortable dining area. The new kitchen was designed in a luminous white laminate that allows the light to spread throughout the house.

Another priority when carrying out this project was to stay within budget. To achieve this, key and very intelligent decisions were made. Everything that was in good condition was kept, including the existing kitchen cabinets, which were in good condition, significantly reducing the budget.

This renovation proves that you don't need an exorbitant budget to transform a space. Through smart decisions, such as reusing existing elements and carefully selecting materials and furniture, this Parisian apartment has been revolutionized, becoming a restful and light-filled space.
