This young couple, passionate about design and good company, decided to transform their old, closed, lightless kitchen into a spacious and functional space that reflected their dynamic lifestyle. The renovation focused on breaking down physical and visual barriers, removing walls to open the kitchen to the rest of the common areas, allowing light to flow freely and transforming the space into an ideal place to receive guests.

As frequent hosts, they needed a functional kitchen that was spacious enough to host events and enjoy memorable moments with friends and family. The transformation of the space had to balance functionality with an elegant and modern design, in line with their lifestyle.

The project aimed to create an open, bright, and functional space, which was also balanced with a darker tone to provide sophistication. They were looking for a layout that would allow for comfortable cooking, hosting events, and serving guests.

The floor where the common areas are located was designed as an open-plan space, eliminating partitions to allow natural light to spread throughout the room. The result is a much larger space that blends into the dining room, achieving a true "loft feel." Built-in furniture was cleverly used to divide the rooms without the need to build walls, maintaining the fluidity of the design.

The kitchen's Tinta lacquer finish adds an elegant and modern touch to the space. This color, combined with the SQUARE handles, provides a subtle contrast that balances the warmth of the materials used in the decor. The choice of dark, neutral tones creates a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.

The kitchen features a central island that serves as a gathering point and facilitates event planning. This versatile element is ideal for cooking and serving and reinforces the connection between the kitchen and the living room. The space has been left completely open, using a sofa to delimit the different areas, which maintains the feeling of spaciousness and consistency throughout the design.
