In 2021, we presented CUBRO x Formica in Barcelona. A CUBRO project that incorporated the new Formica Laminate Collection into its facades.

In this innovative project, a kitchen was designed inspired by the domestic spaces of the 1950s in the United States, known as Case Study Houses. This collaboration invites us to explore the possibilities of using color, fusing the nostalgia of mid-century design with contemporary functionality.

A selection of three surprising colors were the inspiration for this kitchen: Brick, Baby Pink, and Marble Green. A selection for a colorful, bold, and modern kitchen, which, thanks to its success, was incorporated into the CUBRO catalog.

This project was presented through an event held in the kitchen itself, which is located in a Co-Working space in Barcelona. It was filled with food, flowers, and many guests to bring the CUBRO kitchen to life. Thanks to the success of this initiative, the new Formica finishes were added to our catalog and can now be chosen for new projects.
