Wardrobes - WOOD Oak

Design and harmony in 39m2

The 39 m2 project is located in a historic building constructed in 1894, in the emblematic Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona. The objective was to create a multipurpose space that would serve as both an office and a place of disconnection and peace where he could relax away from his busy life, with the aim of creating a harmonious, warm, and comforting environment.

The renovation was a challenge, as it was a small space with little light. Although it traditionally had very distinct and divided rooms, the layout was completely changed to gain spaciousness and make the most of the entire home.

Inspired by Japanese philosophy and applying it to Catalan architecture, an open space was created that would serve as different rooms, keeping the kitchen as one of the central blocks of the house, along with the master bedroom.

The original structures were maintained and natural and organic materials were included through finishes such as Pistachio LINOLEUM, Sable LAMINATE, and Oak WOOD, which appear in all rooms, including the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. These finishes, complemented by ROUND handles, play a key role in providing aesthetic continuity throughout the home, in addition to improving functionality and optimizing storage throughout the space.

A challenging project that has met expectations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The selection of finishes and the intelligent adaptation of the space have significantly enhanced the functionality and aesthetics of the project, achieving a perfect balance.
