In a 55m2 apartment in Barcelona, lives a couple whose love of gastronomy led them to renovate their kitchen. They wanted a practical space where they could both display their culinary skills at the same time. The design had to be functional, but also blend harmoniously with other elements of the home, such as the Catalan vault and the wooden floor.
The most practical solution was to design an L-shaped kitchen. This layout not only offers a wide countertop, but also, being open to the living and dining room, facilitates fluid food preparation and interaction between spaces.
For the finishes, they chose white LAMINATE to enhance the luminosity of the space and offer a harmonious contrast with the toasted tone of the vault and the wood. Added to this are the WOOD oak wall units, which, in addition to providing functionality, incorporate open storage that adds a decorative and authentic touch.
With this renovation, the couple has the perfect setting to bring their culinary inspirations to life.
