Gali: The kitchen that redefines functionality in small spaces
Gali is a portable kitchen that condenses all the functionality of a full kitchen into a 90x90x90 cm module. Designed for those who live in small spaces and rarely cook, this compact design reimagines the traditional concept of a kitchen, adapting it to today's needs.
The design includes a ceramic hob, sink, microwave, refrigerator, pull-out wastebaskets, and a fold-out table for two, all integrated into less than one cubic meter. This project demonstrates that functionality and design can coexist perfectly, offering a practical and efficient solution for those looking to optimize space.
The prototype was developed using IKEA METOD structures, known for their strength, versatility, and 25-year guarantee. These structures, together with the Perle and Fes LAMINATE finishes, create a compact kitchen that stands out for both its aesthetics and durability.
The fronts provide a balanced visual contrast. Light tones define the static modules, while dark tones highlight the useful blocks that hide drawers and appliances. This design adds a contemporary and sophisticated touch while maintaining a functional focus.
Made with cutting-edge laminates, the finishes stand out for their resistance to daily use, scratches, and impacts. This material, produced by compacting multiple layers of paper under high pressure, ensures sustainability and ease of maintenance, adapting perfectly to the demands of a modern kitchen.
Gali redefines how we think about kitchens in small spaces, offering a design that combines functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency in a compact format.
