Kitchens - WOOD Walnut

Natural light and functional design in a Parisian apartment

In Paris, a young couple embarks on the exciting adventure of renovating their cozy 70m² apartment. Located in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood, they wanted to combine a functional and simple design with maximum natural light, thus creating a warm and welcoming retreat for their family.

The main challenge of this renovation focused on meeting the clients' expectations: creating an open, bright, and functional environment. The couple wanted every corner of the apartment to receive as much natural light as possible, creating spacious spaces that encouraged conviviality and family interaction. Particularly in the kitchen, they wanted a place where they could also comfortably receive and serve their guests.

To achieve these goals, the space was divided into two floors. The ground floor, where the common areas are located, with the living room, benefiting from soft natural light provided by a large skylight in the ceiling. Upstairs, the bedrooms enjoy natural light. The kitchen, located in the center of the apartment, is illuminated by glass brick flooring and skylights, allowing you to enjoy this space at any time of day.

The kitchen stands out for its open design that seamlessly connects with the living room, creating a perfect space for hosting meetings and entertaining. The WOOD Walnut finish and ROUND handles provide a cozy and elegant ambiance that evolves over time, enriching the aesthetics of the space. The wood, with its undisputed prominence, is reflected in the exposed and treated ceiling structure, as well as in the renovated floors, achieving a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the space.

The kitchen peninsula is a multifunctional and versatile element, perfect for entertaining guests and enjoying quick meals thanks to its integrated bar. The openness of the space, delimited mainly by a glass window, contributes to the feeling of spaciousness and connection between areas.

The renovation of this apartment is a clear example of how functional and simple design can transform a space. By maximizing natural light and creating open spaces, the project achieves a space that meets the couple's practical needs while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. This project demonstrates that, with careful planning and a focus on quality finishes, it is possible to create a welcoming space that evolves over time.
