A young couple decided to renovate their apartment in El Masnou, Barcelona, ​​with the aim of creating an environment that would allow them to enjoy the maritime surroundings. The renovation sought a simple and balanced design that prioritized natural light and sea views, transforming the place into a space for their vacation.

The project focused on eliminating previous divisions to maximize the light. The key was the unification and expansion of the kitchen into the living room, creating an open-plan living area that invites you to enjoy breakfasts and informal meals while gazing at the sea.

As for the finishes, they opted for a color palette in beige and ochre tones, with contrasting touches of black to enhance the feeling of spaciousness and reflect natural light. The kitchen and cabinets feature a Roto lacquer finish with Plantea handles, while the porcelain countertop offers strength and complements the design with its texture and durability.

The U-shaped kitchen with an extension of the countertop optimizes the available space, providing a feeling of spaciousness. This approach has transformed the apartment into a welcoming, modern, and simple space.
