A family with young children decided to trade the hustle and bustle of the city center for the tranquility of the suburbs. They built this new house to enjoy the serenity and nature.

  • The challenge was to create an open space that would allow for different activities, such as cooking while the children played in other parts of the house. They wanted materials that combined durability with elegance for a long-lasting design. A crucial aspect was maximizing and taking advantage of natural light.

The solution was to design an open-plan kitchen with windows on either side to maximize natural light. The countertop contrasts with the flooring, creating a sense of continuity. The open kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area.

The WOOD Oak finishes, Plantea handles, and natural stone countertops combine natural oak with grayish-toned stone, adding elegance to the design. The wood provides a warm and timeless touch, as well as being a very durable and resistant natural material. Furthermore, each piece of oak is unique, displaying different grain patterns and varying tones.

The kitchen features tall cabinets to maximize storage space. In addition, an island with a stone countertop and extra drawers has been incorporated to further optimize and expand the work area.

The renovation has been a complete success, meeting all the family's needs and expectations. They can now enjoy an open, bright, and functional space that combines durability and elegance in its design. This suburban architectural dream has become a reality, allowing them to enjoy tranquility and nature in their new home.
