Kitchens - WOOD Cherry

A Mediterranean-Mexican house on the Costa Brava

For a family with Mediterranean and Mexican roots, their love of the sea and the sun translates into their ideal location. This project is their dream come true: a vacation home on the Costa Brava that reflects their cultural heritage and will be a meeting point for intimate family moments as well as gatherings with large groups of friends.

The renovation they desired for the house sought to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces. The owners required a change in furniture, looking for pieces that would be durable and suitable for frequent use. Thus, the design took a functional approach, but without losing the warmth and personality they desired for their home.

To achieve this vision, WOOD Cerezo wood was selected for the finishes. This material, sourced from sustainable forests, not only guarantees a long lifespan but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen, designed in a reddish wood tone, becomes the heart of the house. In an open-plan setting, it contrasts with the Mediterranean white and is complemented by Mexican-style furniture, such as the iconic Acapulco chairs.

The kitchen layout allows for al fresco dining and relaxing ocean views. With its blend of Mediterranean and Mexican styles, the home provides a unique and comfortable space for the family to enjoy, reflecting their roots and creating the perfect setting for their daily lives and gatherings with loved ones.
