In this apartment located in Las Tablas, north of Madrid, a family with two children was looking for more than just functionality: they wanted a place where the design reflected their personality. The renovation, without major structural changes, focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere full of emotional touches, adapted to their daily lives and their way of living.

  • The heart of the home is the kitchen, designed with fronts in WOOD Oak and Sable LAMINATE in combination with the characteristic blue Zafiro LACQUER, in line with the tiles of the floor. This combination of materials evokes the Mediterranean and artisanal character of Portugal, integrating the memories and affections of the family in every corner.

The kitchen visually opens up to the living-dining room, separated only by a light partition that maintains the connection without sacrificing the independence of each space. The color scheme features a range of soft blues, which are repeated in other custom-made furniture such as the living room cabinets in Zafiro LACQUER and Oak WOOD, creating a chromatic dialogue coherent and relaxing.

Beyond the color, the rounded shapes and the fluid layout give it an unconventional feel, but with a clearly personal touch.

The Portuguese-inspired details, subtly present in textures, shapes and colors, complete the design of a floor created to accompany the daily rhythm of a family, with functional solutions that do not sacrifice emotion.
