This home for a family of three needed a layout that matched their lifestyle: working from home and the frequent visits from close relatives who live out of town. Originally, the apartment was highly compartmentalized, with the different rooms connected by a long main hallway.

The need was clear: design versatile and multifunctional rooms that would meet the needs of each family member and radically change the layout of the entire house to make the most of the space.

To resolve this and generate a sense of spaciousness, certain structures, such as the hallway and entrance, were eliminated, creating an open, warm, and continuous space dominated by neutral colors and wood finishes. The kitchen was moved to the entrance of the house, while the bedrooms were moved to the back for more privacy.

With the renovation, the family has achieved a house that perfectly adapts to their needs. Every space is utilized to the maximum, allowing the family to enjoy a home designed with care and functionality. This renovation has proven that, with the right design, any home can be transformed into a space that adapts to the diverse activities of its occupants.
