This project in Paris's 19th arrondissement redefines the boundaries of a traditional home, creating a space that blends design, sustainability, and functionality. With a 27 m² extension to an original 75 m² dwelling, the intervention transforms the roof into a habitable extension, providing direct access to a terrace that becomes a shared garden, thus bringing new possibilities to the urban environment.

  • The main objective was to make the most of the attic space to design a welcoming and functional environment, tailored to the needs of its owners: an open and connected area that combines a kitchen, dining room, a small living room, and a work area. The kitchen, designed with WOOD Oak finishes and a marble countertop, brings warmth and elegance to the space, while its design optimizes every corner of the attic area, integrating seamlessly with the roof's slope.

Natural light plays a vital role in this project. A large south-facing window floods the main space with light, while the north-facing skylight complements it with soft light and facilitates cross-ventilation. This design enhances the connection between interior and exterior, achieving a luminous and functional balance in every corner.

This project is an example of how smart and sustainable architectural solutions can transform a standard home into a unique space that reflects the needs and personality of its inhabitants.
