Functional kitchen with large window and wood details

A family discovered the potential of this home and completely transformed it to make their dreams come true. What was once a fragmented, dimly lit house has been refurbished into a spacious, functional, and bright space, ideal for accommodating a large family and adapting to their lifestyle. Now, it's a perfect home for both family life and a meeting place.

The spaces were redistributed, using strategic partitions to define the areas and enhance the sense of openness and light. The ground floor houses the common areas, including a spacious living room and a kitchen that has become the center of most activities. It opens onto a terrace where the stairs leading to the second floor, where the pool is located, are located.

On the second floor, the bedrooms are located, reflecting the perfect balance between functionality and style, integrating wardrobes that adapt to the blue tones that predominate throughout the house. This Cadaqués LAMINATE finish is a soft blue that blends seamlessly with the surrounding color, creating continuity in the bedroom.

When they began to visualize their kitchen, they knew that incorporating functionality into their space was key. For them, this meant organizing the kitchen around two key concepts: creating a spacious area dedicated to cooking and another large space for storage, all planned to maintain a cohesive and harmonious appearance in the design.

The kitchen design and the materials chosen change the atmosphere of the space throughout the day, adapting to the natural light reflected off the cabinets. Therefore, the White LAMINATE finish was chosen, along with the Round handles, which were essential for enhancing the luminosity of the space and creating a visual balance between the other tones used in the room.

The need to maximize the entry of natural light and create spaces that flowed freely into each other was fundamental. The predominant combination of earth tones, white and blue, along with wood details, provides a timeless style. Some original features, such as wooden beams in the bedrooms and a brick wall in the kitchen, have been maintained, perfectly aligned with their needs and tastes.
