Kitchens - LAMINATE Sable, WOOD Oak

Integrated functional minimalism

On the outskirts of Barcelona, a family lives in a two-story apartment with a design that evokes minimalism and neutrality. One of the family members, working from home, needed a suitable space to perform their work duties without compromising the design and style of their home.

Faced with the need for versatile furniture that integrated functional areas without fragmenting the space, they decided to design an ingenious piece of furniture that not only encompasses the kitchen and provides essential storage, but also, with a seamless transition, converts into a desk. This study table is located right next to an exterior window, providing a bright and motivating environment for working.

The strategic design of this piece of furniture allows all the essential areas, from the kitchen to the office, to be concentrated on one side of the ground floor. This frees up an adjacent area that houses the living room, creating a spacious and open space for family enjoyment.

As for the finishes, the choice of WOOD Roble together with LAMINATE Sable reflects a combination that conveys warmth and sophistication. This design has achieved a balance with the original wooden carpentry.

The result is a home that undoubtedly combines innovation, style, and functionality.
