Originally, this industrial space was a large warehouse. Designed to maximize storage efficiency, its interior was completely open-plan and had very few windows to allow natural light or ventilation.

To adapt the house to its new use—a space for working, exhibiting, and living—the space was divided into rooms according to the new tenants' desired layout. From an initially abstract concept, a practical architectural design was materialized, now organizing and defining the different areas of the house.

  • The recent transformation of this warehouse into a multifunctional workspace and living space has been an innovative project. The redistribution of space was planned according to specific needs.

The result is a reinvention of the original space; it is now divided into multiple smaller, functionally distinct areas. Strategically placed walls create open and closed zones according to the purpose of each, including a kitchen, a study, a library, and other rooms. This new layout allows for better organization of the space, making it more suitable for everyday use.

In the kitchen, a Blush laminate finish was chosen, contrasting with the white that predominates throughout the rest of the house. The soft color palette, complemented by bright orange handles, adds vibrancy and creates a stimulating atmosphere through color.

For the relaxation areas, a freestanding wooden structure has been designed, like a small house within the space, which also serves other areas as a library shelving unit, a study table, and a wardrobe. In this way, this structure not only creates intimate spaces but also supports the surrounding areas with integrated and practical furniture.

Despite having a very specific and structured design, the space maintains the flexibility to adapt to different needs and uses in the future, ensuring that it can evolve along with those who inhabit it.
