Mosaics and natural light: this is how a traditional home is transformed

The renovation of this apartment preserves original terrazzo and moldings while integrating an open kitchen and contemporary lines that maximize the connection between rooms.

The renovation preserves the elements that define the original character, such as the hydraulic mosaic floors and the ceiling moldings. To complement these, materials like wood and natural marble were chosen, adding warmth and balance without competing with the existing features. The combination of classic and contemporary creates a serene and cohesive atmosphere. The redistribution of space allows for more natural light and creates a fluid flow between rooms, bringing a new logic to daily life.

One of the most significant spaces in the project is the kitchen, finished in WOOD Cherry, conceived as a natural extension of the living area. Open to the living and dining rooms, it integrates into a spacious, barrier-free area, where each space is defined by the furniture and its arrangement, rather than by physical divisions.
From the beginning, it was conceived as a social space, designed both for everyday life and for sharing with friends. Over time, it has become a true meeting point: a place where people socialize, cook, and enjoy each other's company, just as it was originally envisioned.
In the bedrooms, a soft palette and a flexible layout are chosen, capable of adapting to the changes that each stage brings.

The result is a home that respects its history and sensitively complements daily life. Every decision reflects the desire to create a warm, bright, and functional environment, designed for comfortable and natural enjoyment.
