In Eibar, inside a 1926 building, lives a person who wanted to transform his studio into a modern and functional space. The challenge was to modernize and preserve its historical essence, creating an environment that fused comfort with a practical and stylized design.

The studio was reorganized on two levels to maximize its potential: an open-plan ground floor for the common areas, marked by the presence of beams that add a distinctive character, and an upper level dedicated to work and rest. This open structure allows natural light to disperse freely, visually and functionally connecting every corner of the space without the need for fixed divisions.

The kitchen was designed as the core of the studio, with a central island that not only serves as a cooking area but also as a meeting point for guests, thanks to its integrated bar, it is perfect for breakfast or quick meals. This area, designed to be both fun and casual, reflects a perfect balance between modernity and tradition, honoring the original architectural elements while adapting to contemporary needs.

The selected finishes, such as the Fes LAMINATE in the kitchen with ROUND handles, create a dose of modernity to the space, while the combination of textures and light colors contributes to a welcoming and lively atmosphere. The incorporation of an interior terrace increases the luminosity and offers an oasis of tranquility within the studio.

This renovation has created an open, bright, and multifunctional space, where the kitchen stands out not only for its design but for its ability to harmoniously integrate with the resident's lifestyle. The mix of traditional and modern elements, along with the use of furniture to define areas without completely closing them off, defines a new concept of housing in Eibar, where every detail is designed to enhance the light, comfort, and personality of the studio.
