Kitchens - LACQUER Topo
Subtle finishes and geometrical details create a unique kitchen
The home, located in a quiet residential area overlooking the mountains, was built in the mid-1980s. In its original design, the kitchen was fitted with dark-toned cabinetry, creating a dull ambiance that was out of step with the desired style. Furthermore, the kitchen layout, while functional for its time, didn't make the most of natural light, making the space feel closed in and unwelcoming.
Therefore, the kitchen renovation focused on opening up the space and maximizing natural light. A soft, neutral color palette was chosen, using the LACA Topo finish, which provides a balanced and subtle color. This finish creates a welcoming atmosphere and a seamless design.
To add a touch of personality, tiles with a black and white geometric design were used. This color palette allows for bolder elements, such as a brightly colored floor or one with interesting patterns, without overwhelming the space. The kitchen's details are emphasized without overwhelming the surroundings, achieving a perfect balance between style and functionality.
A peninsula was installed that serves as both additional workspace and a breakfast bar, with high stools inviting you to sit and enjoy a quick meal. Large windows provide a stunning view of the surroundings and allow natural light to flood in, creating a bright environment.
The new layout and design ensure the space is both a practical place to cook and an inviting area for socializing. This transformation has made the home more attractive and suitable for the owners' lifestyle, combining comfort, style, and efficiency in a single space.
