Kitchens - LINOLEUM Smokey blue

Sustainable harmony

In the center of Madrid, there is a small apartment where tranquility and peace are the main protagonists. Its sole resident, a lover of environments that predominately harmonious, was looking for a renovation that would adapt his home to his style and personality.

Despite the apartment's dimensions, the owner wanted to have distinct spaces. He also wanted to give a new look to his kitchen, which was initially in a poorly lit area. This renovation, in addition to seeking a functional design, had a special requirement regarding the use of materials that had to be sustainable.

To solve this problem, the kitchen is located next to a light source and opens up to the living room. This move has transformed not only the functionality but also the atmosphere of the space. The use of linoleum, a material created from linseed oil and pine resin, reinforces the sustainability of the project.

The Smokey Blue LINOLEUM finishes, combined with ROUND handles, give the space a serene aesthetic. This shade of blue blends harmoniously with the home's light tones, the wood flooring, and an iron tabletop that adds character. The durable porcelain countertop adds a touch of sophistication and subtly complements the elegance of the design. With a linear layout, the kitchen has been equipped with high and low units, optimizing organization and storage. This project is the result of an intelligent layout that maximizes the space with a design that fuses aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
