Kitchens - WOOD Oak

Transformation around a wooden cube

In Barcelona, a couple sought to transform their 65 m² apartment, initially segmented into small rooms, into a space that moved away from traditional compartmentalization, with a versatile and innovative design.

The renovation aimed to create an open, fluid, and efficient space. To achieve this, the walls that limited movement and the entry of natural light were removed. Instead, a wooden 'cube' was installed in the center of the house. This not only integrates the kitchen and a large storage space, but also subtly separates the sleeping and common areas.

This oak WOOD structure, with a minimalist design and a play on geometry, complements the predominant white of the rest of the apartment, creating a warm and versatile atmosphere. This module, open to the living and dining room, creates a comfortable space where people can move freely, facilitating coexistence and interaction.

Another unique feature of this apartment is its ability to adapt to different needs. Thanks to a sliding door system, spaces can be made larger or smaller, ensuring that every inch is used as efficiently as possible.

With this renovation, the house has been transformed into an open and spacious space where intelligent design has created a welcoming and functional atmosphere.
