Kitchens - Brick LAMINATE

A tribute to leather and industrial memory

In Silla, a small town on the outskirts of Valencia, lies the heart of Incusa, a family business with over ninety years of history dedicated to the art of leather tanning. In this industrial enclave that houses all of its production, one of the buildings needed a profound transformation: the volume that houses its headquarters. The intervention not only aimed to update the space from a functional perspective, but also to reinforce the brand's narrative through design.

Leather, the brand's soul, becomes the guiding thread throughout the design. It's present not only in custom-designed furniture pieces but also in sculptural elements such as a large leather curtain that presides over the reception area. Beyond the visual, these resources appeal to the senses, allowing you to experience firsthand the quality of the work that defines the brand. The color palette, dominated by earth tones, deep browns, and reddish hues, dialogues with the colors of traditional tanning and reinforces the identity of the space.

To counteract the harshness of the industrial environment, large-scale natural elements were incorporated into the interior: trees planted in custom-made planters provide freshness, rhythm, and a sense of refuge. This desire to balance the technical and human aspects is especially evident in the break area, conceived as a friendly place to unwind, have a coffee, or hold informal meetings. There, one of the project's most subtle and warm gestures takes center stage: a coffee point clad in the Brick LAMINATE and SQUARE oak handle . Its texture, inspired by noble materials, integrates naturally into the narrative of the space.

This transitional space also serves as an exhibition space, with an installation showcasing each season's leather samples. The space is transformed into a true editorial mood board: a living showcase of the creativity, technique, and craftsmanship that have driven Incusa for almost a century.
