Kitchens - Roto LACQUER

A new layout designed for everyday life

Designed for a young couple, this house was also redesigned as a way to rethink how to live. The renovation builds on this idea and reorganizes the space from the ground up, allowing light to take center stage. The two terraces, previously underutilized, become the centerpiece of the project and incorporate their use into the daily routine. They form part of the journey and reinforce the connection between inside and out without forcing it.

When you open the living room toward them, everything changes: the space expands, gains depth and clarity, and the main room acquires a different scale. The interior extends outward without rigidity, and each area feels more open, balanced, and connected.

The kitchen is integrated into this same flow. Separated by a large island that functions as a high table, it becomes a meeting point, a place of conversation, and movement. The Roto LACQUER finish provides a softness that balances the presence of the exposed concrete, exposed at key points to showcase the original structure. The birch wood softens the transitions and adds warmth without being overpowering.

The design is based on simple but thoughtful decisions: taking advantage of light, choosing simple and durable materials, preserving what still has value, and making everything fit together naturally.

The result is a space that feels different. Lighter, brighter, more in tune with those who live there. A place where everything flows effortlessly and every corner invites you to linger.
