This charming 97m2 apartment in Paris, overlooking the Montmartre district, has been completely reconfigured to define the space and create a perfect symbiosis between functionality and aesthetics. The main areas of the house, comprising the kitchen and living room, were completely restructured to align with the owner's lifestyle.

  • The challenge was to transform an originally segmented space into an open, fluid, and welcoming environment. To achieve this, the circulation patterns were completely redesigned, and the living room, kitchen, and entrance were cleared to allow the dining area to be reintegrated into the kitchen space. The result was the creation of a very large living room connected by archways, allowing light to flow freely and visually linking the dining and kitchen areas.

The kitchen, now open to the dining and living areas, was designed in an L-shape with several base cabinets for added functionality. The selection of materials in this space reflects a deep consideration for aesthetics and lasting functionality, conveyed through the use of wood, which also blends seamlessly with the overall style of the home. The choice of WOOD Cherry, a finish that brings warmth and elegance to the space, along with the natural stone countertop, creates an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and inviting.

Classic details were highlighted on the walls and columns, creating a unique and elegant ambiance. This subtle design strategy conveys a sense of harmony and enhances the beauty of the space. This project has maximized the flow of natural light and promoted a feeling of unity and spaciousness, transforming the apartment into a more open and inviting space.
